What are The Truths?

The Truths are God's promises that we were meant to live in. Our struggle in life began when Satan and sin came into the world, distorting those truths and twisting our understanding of what reality truly is.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

Satan, the source of all falsehoods and the father of lies, has altered our lives and this world with deceptions to keep us from seeking God and knowing His Truths.

The Truths

‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ Jeremiah 33:3

    Matthew 28:18

  • Jesus is the only means to our salvation, and the only way to God.

    Acts 4:11-12 John 14:6

Jesus came down from Heaven to live a life in this world just as we do, and to do so in a perfect and blameless manner, resisting all sin and temptation. Jesus was tempted and challenged many times throughout His life, not only by Satan himself, but by mankind as well. Jesus was mocked, ridiculed, and falsely accused on fabricated charges all because He was different than the rest of the world. He was then tortured and beaten severely with whips that had metal spikes fastened to the end, causing huge chunks of flesh to be ripped off of His body every time He was hit. Jesus was then nailed to a wooden cross with a stake driven through each hand and one through his feet. He would hang there for hours, struggling to even breathe. Jesus knew that this was His fate, and Jesus knew that this was God’s will. And even though Jesus had all the power and authority in being part of the Holy Trinity to stop these events from happening, He chose not to use them for our sake.

Jesus endured this pain, torture, and eventual death for our salvation - so that we may be saved and live an eternal life with God and Jesus. Through the shedding of His blood, and His resurrection, Satan and death would be defeated, and the bondage that we are held in by sin would no longer have power over us. The blood of Jesus’ sacrifice would be the atonement for our sins, making us pure and righteous in God’s eyes.

Jesus did not have to do all of this. Jesus did not have to endure the pain and suffering that He did. Jesus chose to - for us - because of His love and desire for us. All we have to do is choose Jesus! The rest has already been done.

The Truths of who we are in Christ

  • We are sons and daughters of the one true and living God

    John 1:12, Romans 8:14, Ephesians 1:5

  • As we are sons and daughters of God, we are then heirs along with Christ

    Romans 8:17

  • As heirs with Christ, we share in all of the powers and glory of Christ as well

    Romans 8:17

  • As we live in Christ, as sons/daughters of The Creator, we should possess the confidence and spirit that we are part of the Royal Family

    Romans 8:14-17

  • As Christians, we were resurrected with Christ and are seated with Christ right now, at the right hand of The Father.

    Ephesians 2:6

  • God created us to be confident and secure in our place within His Kingdom - free from all worries and fears.

    2 Timothy 1:7

The truth of our existence, if we have accepted Jesus Christ and are living in Him, is that we as well have received the blessings, powers, and authority which have been given to Jesus Christ. Our struggles arise from the lies and deceptions of this world, of Satan, which we have been programmed to accept as being true, and as our reality. And since we have come to accept these lies as our reality, we then find it difficult, if not impossible, to even consider anything else as being true.

Our only hope is in turning to Jesus Christ and praying that the Holy Spirit would remove the veil of darkness from our lives so that we may be able to see, hear, and understand what the truth actually is.

Accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior ensures our salvation and guarantees that we will spend eternity in The Kingdom of God. However, while this salvation can never be taken away from us, it is just the beginning of the Christian life. There is so much more that our loving, generous Father wants us to partake in.
