What are The Truths?

The Truths are God's promises that we were meant to live in. Our struggle in life began when Satan and sin came into the world, distorting those truths and twisting our understanding of what reality truly is.

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

Satan, the source of all falsehoods and the father of lies, has altered our lives and the world with deceptions to keep us from seeking God and knowing the Truths.

The Truths

Truth #1

God is the creator and ruler of all things. God has sovereign power over all things, including Satan. Satan was an archangel in Heaven, the most powerful of angels, and brother to archangel Michael.

Satan desired to be like God, and a war broke out in Heaven between Satan and God. Satan, who was known as the archangel Samael, had deceived many other angels with his plot to overthrow God. Satan and his misguided followers were defeated and cast out of Heaven.

Satan then found his way into our world, and all of mankind, through his deception of Eve and Adam, leading them to believe that they could be like God as well. This one event has allowed Satan and sin into every one of our lives.

As Satan is the Father of Lies, no truth or good comes from him. Satan’s main objective is to keep us from knowing God and knowing the Truths of God.

— The Book of Genesis

Truth #3

God is so much greater than we are, in every way. We are incapable of understanding the depth of His love, the fullness of His knowledge, or the goodness of His plans for our lives. We need to accept and believe that as His children, our Father only wants the best for us.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

Truth #5

We have become so intertwined with the ways of this world and the distractions placed into our lives by Satan that we are unable to recognize the fact that God is right there in front of us, calling out to us, and desiring to give us so much more.

All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations - a people who continually provoke me to my very face…. Isaiah 65:2-3

God is real! God does exist! God desires to give each and every one of us a life more abundant than we could ever imagine. We have just succumbed to the lies and deceptions of Satan and come to accept them as our reality. Simply put - We have been misled and misinformed!

Truth #2

Many of us perceive the Bible to be something other than what it was intended to be. Some see an instruction manual, a guidebook to life, or something that holds the secrets to our existence. Others see it as a bunch of rubbish written by common men trying to advance a theory or cause. And even more of us have come to accept a belief that it is outdated and has no relevance to our lives in modern times.

The truth is that the Bible is God’s perfect word. Yes, it was written by men, but those men were specifically chosen by God and inspired by the Holy Spirit in their writings. The Bible is pure and perfect in every sense, and its application never expires.

The Bible is a never-ending love story. It clearly shows the undefinable love that our Father, the Creator of All Things, has for us along with His desire to have us in His presence. The Bible clearly shows the never-ending efforts that God has made to save us from our own sins and mistakes. It clearly shows that God wants us to have the best life possible, and that He is willing to go to any extreme short of allowing sin to provide that life for us.

— The Bible

Truth #4

Since God controls everything and wants the best for us, we must let go of our need to control every outcome in our lives. We must learn to have faith in God, that He will provide the best outcome for us in every circumstance, regardless of how we may perceive it to be at the time.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
